    "A warrior in our Clan is lost?" Daisykit gasped. "That's so cool! I bet he could fight his way out of his kidnappers, for sure!"
    "No, you mouse-brain!" Mousekit retorted, rolling her eyes. "He's only a warrior! He can't take on a whole Clan!"
    "But warriors are the strongest--" Tigerkit mewed, breaking off when his mother interrupted.
    "I'm sure he is fine. Vinestar is sending out a search patrol," she mewed.

    Nightmask saw Vinestar, who was padding anxiously back and forth.
    Her three kits looked on. They were very interested in the actions going on with the lost warrior and patrol, and Daisykit and Tigerkit had even tried to sneak out. Nightmask curled her tail around her kits.
    I hope Snowdrift is okay, she thought, blushing as she pondered about the tom she had a major crush on. She was still young, and had her kits as soon as she became a warrior. She had an affair with a rogue named Socks, who was a brown tabby tom with white-tipped paws and alluring blue eyes that seemed to draw her in. But Socks had disappeared, shortly after she was considering moving in where he kept his den. She found him two or more days after, dead on the Thunderpath. She was devastated, but promised herself she'd be strong for her kits.


    The Clan didn't seem to mind much that her former mate was unknown, although warriors gave her dirty looks every so often.

    Oddpaw is a selective mute, timid she-cat. She suffers from anxiety -- which is paired with compulsions to do repeated rituals and perseverate words, phrases, and actions. She often also has issues with uncomfortable sensory stimuli, such as an especially large amount of noise. She enjoys the quiet, darker confines of the medicine den where she can relax and perform her daily tasks. She also often takes things very literally and has trouble understanding social cues. Although she struggles on occasion, she is quite a bright she-cat and is quite fixated on her knowledge of the herb world.


    Additionally and as a side note, she gets her name from the extra toes on her right paw.
